Position Summary

The Manufacturing Digital Systems & Automation Analyst supports and maintains the digital systems that power safety, operational auditing, reporting, and compliance across manufacturing sites.

This role combines hands-on Power Platform development with structured data management, reporting preparation, and ongoing system administration. In addition to enhancing digital tools, this position serves as a central coordination resource for Manufacturing and R&D leadership — gathering information, organizing inputs from directors, preparing presentations, and ensuring leadership has accurate, well-structured data.

Success in this role requires equal comfort with problem-solving and disciplined follow-through. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable — someone who can build and improve systems while also managing recurring reporting, documentation, and executive support responsibilities.

This is not a purely innovation-focused role. It is a hands-on operational position that blends digital tool development with structured execution and leadership support.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform Development & System Enhancement

• Enhance and extend existing Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards used across manufacturing operations
• Build practical enhancements that improve safety, audit, compliance, and reporting processes
• Translate business needs into structured, maintainable low-code solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve workflow issues to ensure system reliability
• Improve usability and performance of deployed applications
• Contribute to scalable system design and documentation

System Administration & Data Management

• Manage and maintain SharePoint Lists and Libraries serving as system data sources
• Perform routine data validation and cleanup to ensure reporting accuracy
• Monitor workflows and integrations for failures or performance issues
• Maintain structured documentation of systems, processes, and reporting logic
• Support governance best practices including permissions, version control, and change tracking
• Ensure audit traceability and consistency across systems

Reporting & Executive Support

• Develop and maintain dashboards supporting operational, safety, and compliance metrics
• Prepare recurring executive- and board-level presentations
• Gather information and updates from directors and functional leads
• Transform raw operational data into clear, concise summaries for leadership
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
• Track reporting deadlines and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Partner with Manufacturing, EHS, IT, and R&D stakeholders to improve digital workflows
• Replace manual or spreadsheet-based processes with structured, sustainable systems
• Provide user documentation and light support for deployed tools
• Identify incremental system improvements that increase clarity, efficiency, and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or manufacturing-adjacent role
• Experience or strong familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Comfort working with structured data (lists, tables, relationships)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into simple, effective digital solutions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Power Apps or workflows in a production environment
• Exposure to manufacturing, EHS, quality, or compliance processes
• SharePoint administration experience
• Understanding of workflow logic, data modeling, or low-code architecture
• Experience preparing executive or management presentations
• Experience supporting recurring reporting processes

What This Role Offers

• Direct responsibility for real production systems used across manufacturing operations
• Regular interaction with plant leadership and directors
• Development in both digital systems and executive communication
• Exposure to operational decision-making processes
• A structured, high-accountability role with visible impact

What This Role Is / Is Not

This role is:
• Hands-on and systems-focused
• Structured and detail-oriented
• A central organizational resource for digital systems and leadership reporting
• Equal parts system builder and operational administrator
• Collaborative and business-facing

This role is not:
• A help desk or ticket-based IT support role
• A pure innovation or R&D development position
• A senior architecture or full-stack software engineering role
